Refund Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

1. Payment processor

All payments for Votepit Cloud's paid plans (Lite, Pro) are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, tax and the technical processing of refunds on our behalf. Where this policy differs from Paddle's own Buyer Terms on how a refund is technically carried out, Paddle's terms govern that process — this page describes the reasons and eligibility for a refund as set by Votepit.

2. Right of withdrawal for consumers (14 days)

If you are a consumer within the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving any reason, under §§ 355, 356 BGB. To exercise this right, contact us via the address in the Legal Notice, or use the sample withdrawal form below. Important: if you expressly request that we start providing the Service immediately rather than waiting out the 14-day period, and you confirm you are aware that your right of withdrawal ends once the Service has been fully performed, your right of withdrawal ends accordingly early — this applies to digital subscription services that are delivered immediately upon payment, such as this one.

3. Sample withdrawal form

To: the contact address given in the Legal Notice — I/we (*) hereby give notice that I/we (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the provision of the following service: Votepit Cloud subscription. Ordered on (*) / received on (*). Name of consumer(s). Address of consumer(s). Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper). Date. (*) Delete as appropriate.

4. Cancelling an ongoing subscription (outside the 14-day window)

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your account, effective at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a billing period that has already started, except where required by law or as described above.

5. Service issues / goodwill refunds

If the Service was materially unavailable or defective through our fault for a significant part of a billing period, contact us via the address in the Legal Notice. We review such cases individually and may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion, without this constituting a general entitlement beyond what the law requires.

6. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method used for the purchase, typically within a few business days of approval.
